Popular gospel singer, Sinach is in trouble. She has been sued for N5 billion by music producer, Michael Oluwole a.k.a Maye over alleged copyright infringement.

Maye, in a suit numbered FHC/L/CS/402/2024, declared that he wrote and co-owned her hit song, ‘Way Maker’ song.

Maye has demanding that Sinach pays him N5 billion for cumulative infringement of his rights.

The trial began on Wednesday November 27, 2024 at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The case was adjourned until January 29 and 30, 2025.
