Popular Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has taken a swipe at the Nigerian government for reopening schools amid the second wave of COVID-19.
He said; “My question is simple about school reopening, how many children of our politicians that made this decision attends any of these schools allowed to open?”
“That thing inside the ruling elites of this country Wey make dem hate the struggling people of this country, one day dem go tell us.”
“This is wickedness pure and simple. The only reason these children and undergrads are forced to resume is because no one is willing to invest in virtual classrooms for them. There is no immediate profit to be made.”
