Senator Magnus Abe, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Rivers State has cried out: “Some heavy weights in the All Progressives Congress, APC, are scheming to shut me and my supporters out of the party, but I will not leave the party for anybody.”

“The events that unfolded are clear indications that some individuals want to chase me out of the party. The National Convention Committee that was in the state to conduct the congress election had reached agreement with my supporters in the presence of the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Ahmed Zaki on the outcome of the congress.”
