Viewers of the Glo-sponsored hilarious and didactic TV drama Series, Professor Johnbull, will be treated to another exciting time as Episode 2 of Season 2 of the new season treats the issue of students’ tendency to blame their teachers when they fail their exams.

Billed for airing at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes, the episode is tagged “Dem Give Me”.

It has Nollywood actor, Victor Osuagwu, making a special guest appearance as an uncle to the philanderer, Flash Boy, acted by Stephen Odimgbe. It also parades other regulars like Elizabeth (Queen Nwokoye), Caro (Mercy Johnson Okojie), Olaniyi acted by Yomi Fash-Lanso, Mai Doya (Funky Mallam), Jumoke played by Bidemi Kosoko, Etuk (Imeh Okon) and the conscience of the Series, the erudite Professor Johnbull (Kanayo O. Kanayo).

Flash, whose uncle, Harold (Victor Osuagwu), refuses to pay his school fees, is crestfallen when the almost-blind professor and HOD, Professor Abby starred by Ben Nwosu, holds on to his last semester’s result because of an outstanding fee of N25,000. With his back turned to the wall, he solicits Professor Johnbull’s assistance in paying the fee.

Will Professor Johnbull oblige Flash or will someone else come to his rescue? What happens when Flash’s result is eventually released? What impact will the result have on the philandering Flash? How does the Emeritus Professor Johnbull know Flash’s  performance without seeing his result? Will the “scattered-brain, misguided, undependable and preceptor” Uncle Harold fall for Flash’s pranks? Will Professor Johnbull whose housemaid, Caro, fails her home-lesson come down hard on Flash and Caro for buck passing? These and many more are the posers waiting to be unraveled as the episode goes on air.

In a statement, Globacom, the Executive Producers of the sitcom, directed and produced by Tchidi Chikere, said that “the episode ‘Dem Give Me’ is yet another topical issue Nigerian youths need to address.”

“Dem Give Me is a clarion call to all to accept responsibility for their personal mistakes and for students to stop the game of blame-shifting when they do poorly in exams. This will help our educational institutions at all levels to produce graduates that will be able to stand up to their counterparts in any part of the world, and make  holders of the certificates worthy in both learning and character”, the company said.
