The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 candidate in the governorship election in Lagos State, Jandor (Abdul-Azeez Adediran) has revealed to Nigerians why he lost the election to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He said: “We did everything, but that wave came and swallowed the whole thing. Nobody saw that coming.”
“If not for Peter Obi’s influence in the presidential election, I probably would have won the election at the governorship election.”
For those who don’t know, Jandor scored 62,449, behind Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour who polled 312,329 votes and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, polling a total of 762,134 votes to emerge winner.
