The household utensils dealers’ multi-purpose co-operative society, (Ogbo-Efere) Ogbaru market is 20 years old. Founded in 1996, the co-operative society has shouldered the responsibility of fostering balance in interactions between its members and other authorities, as well as members’ welfare.

The organization has been a Godsend platform that offered meaningful entrepreneurial opportunities to members while fostering love, unity and harmony among members. In forming a binding force of unity and purpose, the society’s leadership has created in the society, a place of refuge, protection and prosperity for the hapless as well as the endowed, thus assuring its sustainability for the past twenty years. Where there are good people, there is always progress and positivity.

Come Wednesday 30th November, the organization will be celebrating its 20th anniversary at the market premises, Ogboefere Ogbaru Market, by 10.00am. The epoch making event will be a time of great testimonies, reunion and great nostalgia and reminiscences. More than ever, it will highlight the struggles, successes and aspirations of the society and its members, as well as highlight the contributions of the society to the lives and progress of the members and the economy of Anambra State.

The occasion will be chaired by Chief Sir Azubuike Umunna (Nwachinemere) Managing director of Zunnamedics Pharmacy. The special guest of honour will be His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano (Akpokuodike Global) Executive Governor of Anambra State.

Other distinguished guests will be Senator Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah (Adaeze Chukwu) – Senator Representing Anambra North, Hon Prince Chukwuka Onyeama (Akukalia Ochendo) Deputy Minority Leader, Federal House of Representatives, and Chief Linus M.
