For Nollywood star actor and producer, Mike Ezuruonye, Nigeria movie producers have not done enough.
The talented thespian made this revelation in the excerpt of the interview with Vibe.ng recently where he said that…
“Nollywood is growing but we haven’t gotten it right yet. There is still no structure. I want to wake up one morning and see that we have over 200 cinemas in this country.”
“The problems facing the movie industry is the issue of royalties not met, producers are lazy and are not looking for other avenues to expand the clientele of Nollywood, content buyers are ripping people off, and distribution is also a big issue.”
“If someone offers me 700million dollars to retire from Nollywood, I will take it, but I will still be working from the shadows because being in Nollywood makes me happy.”
