The political scene of Ogun State took a dramatic turn lately as two prominent prince from the same royal house of His Royal Highness Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, the Osile of Oke Ona Egbaland are now eyeing the Senatorial Seat of Ogun Central under the platform of different political parties.

The brothers, Lanre Tejuoso and Kayode Tejuoso are currently the aspirants of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) respectively.

Lanre, who recently resigned his appointment as Commissioner For Youths and Sports in Ogun State on order to pursue his senatorial ambition we learnt have received the blessing of his boss Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the incumbent Governor and leader of APC in the State.

On his own, Kayode Tejuoso who once contested for the Governorship seat of Ogun State on the platform of the then ACN but lost to the incumbent is also learnt to be the favourite aspirant of Chief Olusegun Osoba, the leader and chief promoter of SDP in the State.

The latest development which according to observers is dire situation for the Royal Father who is apparently having a difficult challenge of persuading the siblings not to create disunity in the family over their political ambition.

Meanwhile, as the duo posters are flooding the entire city, residents of the Senatorial area who are familiar with the happenings in the political circle are now keeping their fingers crossed awaiting where the pendulum swings.
