Former Kano State Governor and erstwhile presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has issued a strong warning to Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf over his defection from the party.

Kwankwaso said: “Several people have come to me saying they believe what happened was part of an arrangement, either between me and him or between me and those around him.”

“Even I, on many occasions, find it hard to believe that events unfolded the way they did.”

“Time will eventually expose the full implications of the decision, political actions often have lasting consequences.”

For those who don’t know, Governor Yusuf has formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), completing the move on Monday after resigning from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) on Friday.
