Nigerian rapper, Idowest, (Adekunle Idowu) has landed himself into trouble for referring to star singer, Davido as “the Jesus of our time.”

The rapper and Omo Shepeteri crooner took to his Instagram page to wish his friend and colleague, Davido who recently turns a year older happy birthday.

He wrote; “Its King Day!!!! Life Changer . Jesus of our time!!! I just wanna use this opportunity to say a big thank for all you have done in my life!!! Will never repay your kindness. Happy Birthday legend and god bless you.”

The rapper, following his remark has been taken to the cleaners by the followers on the comment section… @okesema_saywa: “u nid to go learn the meaning of allusion. All i can see idowest doing here is making a biblical allusion of jesus. Think before u open ur crap.”
