That Senator Dino Melaye has lost the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election is an established fact.

Despite losing the election to the younger brother of the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Engr. Musa Wada, the lawmaker remains undeterred as he has now taken to his Instagram page to boast.

He wrote; “Because I have God I’m Indestructible. David was first insulted before he was respected and that is always the story of achievers until they laugh at you, they will not laugh with you!”

“Yes, that was why Zion was born from pains and insults. I will press on, victory is near. Let not your hearts be troubled .”

“We shall overcome because weeping may tarry till nigh but joy cometh in the morning. I thank all my supporters and fans all over the world, God bless you all..”

“The light is ON and darkness comprehended it not. IT IS WELL – SENATOR DINO MELAYE.”

For those who don’t know, the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party had their governorship primary election held on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at Lokoja ahead of the November 16th election.

However, Engr. Musa Wada emerged the winner with 748 votes, followed by Abubakar Idris with 710 votes, the former governor Captain Idris Wada came third, while Senator Dino Melaye came fourth.
