The Official Portrait of PDP New Chairman Ahmadu Adamu Mu'AzuThe enfant terrible of Nigerian politics, Gov. Ayodele Peter Fayose of Ekiti State has revealed how the PDP national Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu sold the party to APC during the just concluded elections in Nigeria.
Gov. Fayose revealed recently that five days before the governorship election in Ekiti State he was at the chairman’s house where he waited for five hours to see him. He added that after the long wait, Adamu Mu’azu came out and said he was expecting a visitor who doesn’t want to see Yoruba people at his house. So, all the Yoruba politicians there should leave.
The governor said when he came back later, the chairman said it was the APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu that came to see him.
That’s not all; the No. 1 citizen of Ekiti State equally revealed that on the day of the presidential election, the PDP national chairman was not in the country.
According to the governor, the chairman also left the country to Singapore on the day names of PDP candidates were to be submitted to INEC. For the elections and President Jonathan was not even aware that his party chairman was leaving the country. Also, the governor said the chairman told people recently that he deceived President Jonathan before he travelled out.
