Winners of the #FirstBankIssaVybe free tickets to Davido Live in Concert got to witness some mild drama. Prior to the star stepping on stage, his hypeman who apologized for Davido’s delayed appearance decided to throw some shots to get the crowd hyped.

“Shoutout to Wizkid Starboy, we love him,” he said, “but I’m about to bring out the Star King.” His words, however, did not enact the expected reaction as the waiting crowd refused to be hyped by anything but Davido’s presence. One of the winners, Timilehin Anibaba, who was excited to vybe with FirstBank in the VIP section, thanked the bank for the opportunity to see his idol live.

“Ordinarily, I won’t want to spend N20,000 on a ticket this period but #FirstBank is pretty cool for affording young people like me this experience.”

There was more drama midway into the show when Davido threw money into the crowd. There was a mini stampede, with people on the verge of getting hurt but Davido and his crew managed to avert the disaster in time.

All in all, it was a fun night for which Timilehin and the second winner, Tina Ediale, were grateful to FirstBank. Throughout the Christmas and New Year season, FirstBank is giving out VIP tickets to premium events in Lagos to some of its social media followers.
