Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has reportedly evaded arrest.

El-Rufai’s Media Adviser, Muyiwa Adekeye disclosed that the security agents on Thursday attempted to arrest the former Governor upon his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja from Egypt.

Adekeye made the revelation on his verified X handle.

He wrote: “Security agents today attempted to arrest Malam Nasir El-Rufai as he arrived on a flight from Cairo. Malam El-Rufai declined to follow them without a formal invitation.”

“They, however, snatched his passport from an aide.”
