Ecobank Nigeria Limited has sacked 50 top management staff. Those sacked ranged from Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager and above, with monthly salaries ranging between N1 million and N2 million. Insiders revealed that they were fired at the bank’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos last week.

We gathered they were fired due to poor performance and the harsh economy of the country. In the same vein over 300 top performing staffers were also promoted.
