In commemoration of the celebration of the SWAN week 2019, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, sends a congratulatory message to the State Branch of the Sports Writers Association OF Nigeria (SWAN).

In a Statement issued in Abeokuta today by the Spokesperson to the governorship hopeful, Rt Hon Remmy Hazzan, the APC candidate bemoans the poor state of sporting infrastructures, as well as the little attention or near total inattention sports generally is experiencing in the State at this time.

Prince Dapo Abiodun said; “I am not unaware of the poor state of our sporting infrastructures in the State at this time. I am also aware that we have not done much for sports as envisaged. I am however committed to a new era that will return our dear state to sporting glory on all fronts”.

The APC governorship candidate charges the Chairman, executive council and all members of SWAN Ogun State not to relent in genuinely advancing and positively promoting sports and its interests at all levels.

“We have what it takes to be at the very top, and together, we shall get there”, Prince Dapo Abiodun said.
