Famous galala singer, Daddy Showkey has gone on bended kneels to beg the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to temper justice with mercy concerning his young fellow artiste, Naira Marley.  

It would be recalled that fast rising singers; Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile and three others were arrested by the anti-graft agency on Friday, May 10th, 2019 in Lagos for their alleged involvement in internet scam, called; Yahoo Yahoo.

However, the EFCC on Tuesday, May 14^th, 2019 released Zlatan alongside his PA, Rahman Jago and his house-help, leaving Naira Marley in EFCC custody.

Be that as it may, Daddy Showkey, has taken to his Instagram page to appeal to the EFCC, he wrote; “A lot of Nigerians have called me because of Naira Marley. I lived a dangerous life on the streets as a young man but that doesn’t mean I will advise my child or any young person to live the same way and make the same mistakes I made.”

“Temper justice with mercy. This is just a young man growing up. Let us not use his mistakes to spoil his career we all went through so many things growing up. We can use him as a spokesman to young people against crime EFCC, maybe he will learn with this.”
