Cowbellpedia: Promasidor Introduces Chat Bot For Checking Result

Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the organisers of Cowbellpedia Secondary School Mathematics TV Quiz Show, sponsored by its flagship brand Cowbell Our Milk, has introduced a new channel, dubbed Cowbellpedia Chat Bot on Facebook for candidates who sat for the 2019 Cowbellpedia National qualifying examination to check their results.

Announcing the innovation, Marketing Manager of Promasidor Nigeria Limited, Abiodun Ayodeji, explained that Cowbellpedia Chat Bot complements the website process of checking the result. This will now make it stress-free for students, school proprietors and parents who has Facebook accounts to check the results.

He said students with Facebook accounts could log on to Messenger and through the Facebook messenger, interact with the Cowbellpedia Chat Bot for their results.

He reinstated that the results for the 2019 Cowbellpedia National qualifying examination have been released by the National Examination Council (NECO).

While on the Cowbellpedia Chat Bot, Students have the options to search their result using their registration numbers, names, top 10 students, e.t.c. Ayodeji reiterated that, results can also be accessed on Cowbellpedia website:  www.cowbellpedia.ng

For this year’s edition, a new record of 15 perfect scores has been set by participating students. The old record of six perfect scores achieved in 2016 was erased in this year’s qualifying examinations by 12 students in the junior category and three others in the senior category.

Ten states as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja produced the candidates with the perfect scores. Anambra, Rivers, Benue and Ogun States each have two students, while Edo, Akwa Ibom, Lagos, Kaduna, Abia and Osun States plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have one candidate each.

A total of 56,073 students, comprising 29,073 (junior category) and 27,000 (senior category) sat for the qualifying examination in 203 centres across the country.

The ultimate winner in each of the junior and senior categories will have a reward N2 million plus an all-expense paid educational excursion outside the country at the end of the initiative in November 2019.

According to the Managing Director of Promasidor Nigeria Limited, Mr. Anders Einarsson, who revealed this at the flag-off of the competition earlier in the year, the first and second runners-up in each category will receive N1.5 million and N1 million respectively.

The teachers of the top prize winners will be awarded N500,000 while those of the first and second runners-up will receive N400,000 and N300,000 respectively.
