President Muhammadu Buhari’s letter declaring June 12 Democracy Day in Nigeria has been lampooned by popular journalist, Femi Akintunde Johnson of FAJ Alive TV programme.
“Mere proof reading will indicate 10 slurs (red marks) that reveal this letter couldn’t have emanated from Nigeria’s highest office. More professional eyes may even find more inelegant mishaps! It has to be fake!!”
“However, if it is, by some wild discomfiture, a true letter, properly so signed by our President…then the writer of the first and final draft should be dragged to Eagles Square, and flogged mercilessly with kobokos soaked in codeine and such stuff. I rise!!!!”
