Elated President Muhammadu Buhari, President of Nigeria has taken to social media via Facebook to mock Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State for spreading false allegation that his wife, Her Excellency, Hajia Aisha Buhari is wanted in America: “This morning, my wife Aisha Buhari arrived US. The accusations from Ayo Fayose of Ekiti are all baseless.”

It is interesting to know that the governor has been saying for months now that the president’s wife was involved in the Halliburton scandal where her name was mentioned in the case of William Jefferson who was convicted on corruption charges in 2009, and to whom Aisha Buhari wired the sum of $170,000. It is now clear that the Aisha Buhari that was mention in the court paper in reference is not the President Buhari’s wife. Consequently, the president’s wife has sued Governor Ayodele Fayose over his allegation.
