Famous evangelist and one of the most influential preachers of the 20th Century, Billy Graham is dead. He was 99-years old.

He died at his home in Montreat, North Carolina. He is said to have personally preached to over 210 million people in his 60-year career. He became a committed Christian at the age of 16 and was ordained a minister in 1939.
He became popular in the United States when he held a two-month ministry in a giant tent in Los Angeles in 1949. Graham was so renowned that he became so close to the US presidents from Truman to Nixon and Obama.
