Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s supporter, Hon. Chinyere Igwe has been arrested with 500,000 US Dollars in cash.
Hon. Chinyere Igwe who is a member of the Federal House of Representatives was arrested by the operatives of the Rivers State Police Command on Friday, February 24th, 2023 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The lawmaker and Coordinator of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was arrested along Aba Road in Port Harcourt.
Sources said the police also found a list of how the money will be distributed to beneficiaries in the 23 local government areas of the State as well as security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
