All Progressives Party, Lagos State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Joe Igbokwe revealed that the APC will rule Lagos State for 51years. He explained that the PDP tried to take Lagos from them in the just concluded election when ex-President Jonathan relocated from Aso Rock, Abuja to Lagos to share dollars and pounds sterling to voters but they failed.

According to him the people of Lagos state voted for APC because they were impressed with the hardwork of the party in the state.

The APC spokesman also debunk the rumour making rounds that Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode is out to punish Igbo traders at Ladipo Market for not voting for APC during the election by demolishing Ladipo Market.

Mr. Joe Igbokwe said the governor is a Christian and cannot do such a thing. He added that during the election campaign the Igbo traders at Ladipo Marketer threw water sachets at the governor when he went there. But, they are not ready to repay evil for evil.

He said that Ladipo Market is originally a Health Centre and if the government wants to follow the plan, the marketer ought to be demolished.
