Amosun Can’t Stop Me From Becoming Ogun Governor – Adebisi

Leading governorship aspirant in Ogun State and a prominent member of All Progressives Congress (APC), Jimi Adebisi Lawal has reiterated his commitments to his gubernatorial ambition in 2019.

Jimi Lawal, an indigene of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State who enjoys support of political leaders and masses from Ogun East region believes it is only the people and God who chooses leaders not an incumbent Governor.

According to him, “if God wants me to become governor and Governor Amosun doesn’t want, the will of God shall prevail, and even if Governor Amosun wants me to be Governor in 2019 while God doesn’t want, the will of God will definitely come to pass, therefore Governor Amosun cannot stop my ambition”

However, the erudite London trained banker who is also a lawyer  not only commends achievements made so far by the current administration in Ogun State but also revealed he respects and maintains a good relationship with incumbent Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

A firm believer in God, Jimi Lawal, while speaking with journalists at his campaign headquarters in Ijebu Ode recently, expressed his gratitude to God who miraculously healed him of asthma said he wants to appreciate God by spending his time to serve humanity in his political sojourn.

Apart from building on the success recorded so far by the current administration, Jimi Lawal said his administration would not only provide qualitative education but also provide free education for pupils in elementary schools to JSS 3 and make compulsory if elected governor in 2019.

He further pledged to continue paying WAEC fees of SSS 3 students, a gesture cancelled by current administration.

Lawal who is confident of picking the ticket of his party based on integrity and enviable tracks record further said if elected, human capital and economic developments remains one of his top agenda.

He also said security of lives and properties, infrastructural developments and efficiency in governance shall be the watchword of his administration if elected come 2019.
