Adamawa Governor, Fintiri Dumps PDP For APC

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) like a bad habit.

The governor has now joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Fintiri disclosed this in a statewide broadcast on Friday, February 27th, 2026.

According to him he defected with his entire cabinet and all the PDP officials.

Fintiri said his action was for the developmental interest of the people of Adamawa State.

It is interesting to know that Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas and his Kano and Plateau States counterparts, Abba Yusuf and Caleb Muftwang recently joined the APC too.
