Actress Mary Remmy-Njoku Humiliated

Star actress, Mary Remmy-Njoku, and wife of Iroko TV boss, Jason Njoku is still in shock after being humiliated by a barber.

The screen diva was said to have gone to a barbing salon in Ikeja GRA, Lagos to get her hair cut only to be disgraced by a Lebanese barber who told her he does not barb hair for N200.

The barber we gathered also made some racist comments, reminding the actress that his salon is not the regular Nigerian one where they pay N200 to have a haircut.

The law-abiding actress rather than joining issues with the annoying barber, headed to a police station to report him where he was later discovered to be an illegal immigrant.

Be that as it may, the actress’s husband, Jason Njoku has taken to his Twitter handle to share his wife’s ordeal in the hands of the Lebanese barber… “Mrs Njoku wanted to get a haircut in Ikeja GRA. (I cut the one she is currently sporting and have been away this week) Saw a Lebanese barber tending the salon. He aggressively raised his voice.”

“This is not one of those your Nigerian salons where you people pay N200 for haircut’. It was just her so she felt a little upset and definitely threatened. She left. He’s lucky I wasn’t in Nigeria.”

“Anyway. Straight to the police station to make a complaint. He was invited for questioning. He started with ‘he doesn’t cut Nigerian hair.’ Once they asked about his immigration status he started begging that he was so sorry. Offered Mrs Njoku, DPO everyone free haircuts.”
