Information reaching us right now has it that Abule-Egba area in Lagos State is on fire.

Residents of the area squealed to us that the fire started in the early hours of Wednesday, December 19, 2018 caused by a pipeline explosion leaving many cars, houses and other properties burnt.

Sources alleged that vandals are the cause of the explosion resulting from the pipelines which extended to Abule Egba Bus Stop. Sources added that men of the fire service arrived the place in few trucks hours after the fire incident.

Reacting to the unfortunate incident, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA’s), stated that;

“The impact resulted in inferno as it ravaged several houses and cars at the incident scene. Lagos Fire Servicemen and LRU firemen are on ground to combat the inferno in order to curtail the further spread to adjoining buildings and also the nearest Filling station”
