A woman in Sapele area of Delta State has been caught for attempting to give away her baby as collateral for a loan of ₦20,000.

In a video available on the internet, the woman claimed that her baby’s father lives abroad, (America) and that she wants to meet him there but needs a loan of ₦20,000.

In her bid for the money, she promised to use her child as collateral and that when she comes back from America, she will pay back the loan and retrieve her child.

However, there were disbelieves that the woman meant all she said as those present believed that the woman was trying to use gimmicks to abandon her child and flee with the money.
