Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State seems ready to do battle with former Governor Lucky Igbinedion. The incumbent governor is bent on recovering the sum of N7billion the former governor allegedly took from coffers of Edo State Government.

Aides of the incumbent governor revealed that Ex-Governor Lucky Igbinedion claimed to have used the huge sum of money to fund a cement company located at Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of the state.

They added that the former governor spent N308million on a fruit juice processing company located at Ehor and sold the company including the land and three hectares of Pineapple farm for N283million.

We gathered that Gov. Oshiomhole has directed Edo State Attorney-General to take legal action against former governor Lucky Igbinedion over the alleged fraudulent sale of the Edo State owned fruit juice processing company and N7billion allegedly taken from the government coffers.
