Popular social media activist, Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has criticised Apostle Arome Osayi, accusing him of abandoning Nigeria for the United States of America (USA).
VDM made the remarks while reacting to a post announcing an upcoming conference, which he claimed presented Apostle Arome as representing the United States.
VeryDarkMan said: “There’s a conference coming up and it shows you’re not representing Nigeria. You wey dem just give residency which day, you don forget your identity, you don dump Nigeria.”
“You don dump your root, you don’t want to associate with us anymore and na you wan come dey give us healing? Na you wan come dey see vision for us?”
Apostle Arome has faced criticism from some Nigerians following his recent teaching on Nigeria’s national calling, in which he contrasted the country’s emphasis on prayer and revival with China’s technological development.
Criticising the teaching, VDM said:
“You people have enslaved our youth with demonic doctrine that’s holding a lot of us back.”
“Come back to your senses, Mr Osayi, clown. You’re a house slave, you’re a Nigerian man. Osayi is an Edo name, you’re from my state.”
