Former Speaker, Federal House of Representatives and new executive governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal has declared a full scale political war on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Those in the know told us that the governor is hell-bent on cutting the APC National Leader to size. Sources revealed that the governor is hell-bent on stopping Tinubu from installing Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.

We were told that Tambuwal has thrown his weight behind Hon. Yakubu Dogara, a Christian from Bauchi State for the exalted position and he is ready to dare the APC national leader no matter the political consequences.

That’s not all, our sources added that the governor has already mobilized his supporters in the APC and the PDP who are members of the Federal House of Representatives to vote for his candidate as the next Speaker of the House. Insiders said the governor and some northern politicians in the APC are not very comfortable with the fact that Bola Tinubu produced the presidential candidate, vice president and chairman of the APC and now he wants to produce the speaker and senate president.

Our sources said that most of the lawmakers from the north see Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as too hot tempered and arrogant. They said he lacks the calmness and humility of the ex-speaker, Aminu Tambuwal.
