Victor Ikpeba Blows Hot

Former Super Eagles star, Victor Ikpeba is very angry with the Libya Football Federation over the ill-treatment on the Super Eagles players.

Ikpeba said: “If CAF know their job, Libya ought to be banned from international football.”

“CAF are not mindful of the safety and wellbeing of players across Africa.”

“This is a high-risk country and one really wonders who approved for Libya to be playing their games at home.”

“I played for the Super Eagles for 10years and I never experienced what I have in Libya in the last hours.”

For those who don’t know, Super Eagles players became stranded at the Al Abaq Airport following their arrival in Libya on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Mediterranean Knights.

Besides, Victor Ikpeba is part of the Nigerian delegation in Libya for the AFCON qualifier.
