Elder statesman and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Bode George has lambasted those claiming that the party structure in Lagos has collapsed into All Progressives Congress (APC).

Bode George said: “I want to assure our leaders that the Iroko political party is very much alive.”

“It is absolutely nonsensical to say the PDP structure in Lagos State has collapsed into APC.”

Reports have it that some Lagos PDP chieftains, including the 2023 governorship candidate, Jandor (Abdul-Azeez Adediran) and spokesman, Alh. Hakeem Amode have defected to the APC.

However, according to the defectors, the PDP’s structure had collapsed into the ruling party.
