Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Tunde Lemo has announced that he has only one official Facebook account, distancing himself from several other pages operating in his name.

He made the announcement in a statement on the official face page.

The statement reads: “My dear people of Ogun State, elders, friends, associates and contemporaries.”

“I am pleased to officially announce that this is my only authorised Facebook account/page.”

“In recent times, I have observed the existence of several accounts/pages bearing my name and image. While I appreciate the goodwill and enthusiasm of supporters, I wish to clarify that those platforms are not managed by me or my official communication team.”

“Going forward, this account/page will serve as the primary platform for my thoughts, engagements, policy perspectives and public communications.”

“I encourage you to follow, share responsibly and rely solely on updates from this account/page for accurate information.”

“Thank you for your continued support and trust.”
