The Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, Dr. Babatunde Fowler is in fresh trouble, as an APC topshot, Mr. Timi Frank has told the senate not to confirm his appointment.

The APC topshot revealed that Dr. Fowler broke the laws of Nigeria by resuming duty without due clearance by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Mr. Timi Frank added that Dr. Tunde Fowler acted with impunity by assuming office because the Section 3(2a) of the FIRS Establishment Act of 2007 states that the executive chairman of the service is to be appointed by the president and subject to the confirmation of the Senate.

The APC chieftain is insisting that the Senate must sack the FIRS boss immediately because his appointment is an offence and gross breach of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Also, he has vowed to drag Dr. Babatunde Fowler to court for resuming work without clearance by the Senate.
