Popular politician, Chief Tony Anenih’s son, Eugene died on Sunday 14th May, 2017. He slumped and died of alleged heart attack while playing a game of tennis at Ikoyi Club, in Lagos.
His death is the second in the Anenih’s family in three weeks. On April 17, 2017, Eugene’s mother, Dame Patricia Anenih died at the age of 74 and she is yet to be buried.
We gathered that his friends administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Eugene, but failed to revive him after which he was rushed to St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos Island. Eugene, it was learnt, died before he got to the hospital.
Eugene was a stock broker and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nova Finance and Securities Limited. He worked previously at TRW Finance and Securities Limited and has been a director of Thomas Wyatt Nigeria Plc.
