Famous singer, Seyi Shay has emphasized the importance of a father figure in a child’s upbringing, especially for girls.

She also cautioned against the growing narrative that “men are not important.”

She said: “Most women who have a father figure in thier lives are generally more stable. They had a lot more access to good education and good morals growing up than the ones that don’t.”

“Also, there is a bar when they want to get married or when they chose male friends. All these narrative of men are not important is bullsh*t because that’s just an agenda for more divisions in our homes so that we can churn out more broken souls and more lost females and males.”
