“Look, when you called me, I was in my prayer room seeking God’s mercy. So, when my brother said you called, l returned to tell you that those wishing me dead cannot be serious. I have no terminal illness. I’m not in London. I’m in Lagos and I hope to be in Ibadan to participate in the annual Coca-Cola soccer tournament for kids.”

“My fans, who are in Ibadan, will see me live on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd June, 2017. In fact, my weekend is fully occupied. Let me thank your newspaper house for always seeking to speak with me whenever this useless story crops up. I will be in your office next Monday, trust me.”
