T.B Joshua In Fresh Trouble

TB-JoshuaThese are not the best of times for Prophet T.B Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations based at Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos. His troubles have been compounded by the shocking revelation by the Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Oluwatoyin Ayinde before the coroner probing the cause of the church’s building that collapsed and killed about 116 people recently.

The commissioner told the coroner that the collapsed church’s six storey building has no government approval thus making the building an illegal structure. That’s not all; he also revealed that the church’s main auditorium that is now an eight storey building has approval only for five floors and not eight thus making the additional 3 floors illegal structure.

Besides, the Commissioner added that all unapproved buildings within the church’s premises are illegal and should be investigated.

Be that as it may, there are fears that with this declaration by the Lagos State government that the collapsed six storey building is an illegal structure and all unapproved buildings of the church, the Lagos State government may have to demolish the buildings and take possession of the land as it has been done to other properties in the past.

It is also interesting to know that the church has become a Jerusalem of all sorts to Christians all over the world as they troop in from different countries and continents to worship there.
