Whichever way you look at it, doing business while in public office with access to public funds is never the same with managing a business outside access to power.
Is it not curious that a few months after Stella Oduah, the former aviation minister quit office, it’s no longer business as usual in her company, Sea Petroleum and Gas Company Ltd? As you read this, employees of the said company have yet to receive some months salaries, it is claimed.
The staffer are at loss as to why this would be happening to them knowing the kind of clout their employer once had not too long ago.
Recall, Oduah was unceremoniously dropped some months back as a minister presumably due to her role in the controversial purchase of two BMW cars estimated at N225 million by a parastatal under the ministry of aviation over which she presided.
