The story of former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki has been spreading rumours that he was never invited by the committee probing the purchase of arms, while he was in office has been described as issues of lies by those in the know.

Insiders revealed that Col. Dasuki was duly invited by the John Odey led panel and his lawyer revealed an invitation letter was sent to him but he ignored the invitation and started telling stories to whip up public sentiments.

So far, Col. Dasuki has refused to explain to the panel how he awarded N333 billion phantom arms contracts and the arms were allegedly never supplied.
