Former governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi has taken Governor Nyesom Wike to the cleaners. The ministerial nominee revealed a few days ago that the incumbent governor has borrowed the sum of N45billion to pay himself and his cronies.

The former governor also added that during his tenure as governor of Rivers State, he borrowed N300billion for projects, paid back N245billion and left N15billion in the state accounts. He revealed that the present governor is not even borrowing to pay contractors or inject the huge amount of money into the economy of Rivers State but for his own pocket.
