Even before the Palace of the Obi of Onicha Ugbo responded to your false narrative about the death of one Mr. Ugo as it concerns the land, Hon Ned Nwoko and the Obi of Onicha Ugbo and described it as full of half truths, recall that I, had earlier accused you of engaging in outright lies, half truths and innuendos in all your write up of which appear to be a well designed plot aimed at, maliging the reputation of Hon Ned Nwoko because of his refusal to intervene in the cases bothering on terrorism and murder in which some highly placed persons in Idumuje Ugboko are standing trials in the law Courts in Nigeria.

So , when the palace responded to your story and described the content as half truths you unashamedly tried to ridicule your ignorance by stating thus; “that there’s nothing like half truths” in English language for its either truth or lie which made some of us laughed loudly at your public display of crass ignorance.

So, having observed that in the above subject matter you, once again employed the use of half truths in your in your content presentation and conclusion. It therefore, become expedient to educate you on the meaning of half truths.

The Wikipedia, describes half truths thus;
‘A half truth deceives the recipients by presenting something believable and using those aspects of the statement that can be shown to be true as, a good reason to believe that, the statement is true in its entirety or that the statement presents the whole truth’.

So, as far as the above subject matter is concerned it’s dismissed accordingly because cases are won with facts and evidence not on half truths and appeal to pity.

Facts are regarded as sacred in any case! So, for the interest of the reading public and for the records it has become imperative to state the facts of the case thus:

On a Sunday afternoon, 13th of October, 2019 there was a downpour of rain in the Mount Ned Nwoko Resorts and Tourist Centre in Idumuje Ugboko, Aniocha North LG of Delta State as, a result of that the staff attached to the swimming pool closed the front door to the pool and retired to their rooms within the Resorts Centre.

It has to be stated categorically that , the entrance gate to the Mount Ned Nwoko Resorts, Idumuje Ugboko remains open 24/7 to the general public and as such, anyone else has easy access to the Country home and the Tourist Centre anytime any day without fear of molestation.

So, It was after the rain had subsided and upon getting back to the pool that, it was observed that, a motorcycle was parked at the back door of the swimming pool. This then raised curiosity because there was no Bike there before the front gate was locked.

Upon getting there annd taking a closer look, they discovered clothes on the bike . Then they saw a young man floating on the pool. So when there was no response to the questions from the man who appeared lifeless, a call was immediately put across to the Police Station in Issele Uku and the incident reported.

So, when the Police arrived at the scene they found trouser and the shirt on the bike presumed to be those of the man and when searched, they found some substances believed to be Indian hemp but no identity card or nothing else to know who the man was.

The Police then took the substances and the corpse of the unidentified young man to the General Hospital, in Issele Uku. It was at the General Hospital that, some Okada riders identified the corpse as that of a man from Onicha Ugbo which helped the Police to traced the family and informed them of the incident.

When Ned Nwoko, the owner of the Resorts (who was abroad then) was informed and given the details of the matter he, instructed one Bolum Okwuchi to go back to the Police and have the relatives of the deceased arrested for trespassing. Bolum then, appealed for his understanding stating that, it doubtful if any of his family members sent the young man to the swimming pool not to talk about entering the pool through the backdoor.

Bolum then, promised to handle the case going forward. So, on the Tuesday after the incident which happened on Sunday the, relatives of the deceased came to the house of Bolum and informed him that, the family have met over the unfortunate incident but having looked at the unfortunate situation and the issues involved then, decided that they don’t want case but rather, want to bury their brother and leave the issue to God while moving on with their lives.

So, Bolum and the relatives went to the Palace to tell the Obi about their decision. The Obi then appointed one Peter Offor as their Diokpa to join his other brothers including one Pastor Ifeanyi Ogogo, and two others making it four men from the family of the deceased to, go to the Police Station and inform the Police of their decision as it concerns the case.

So, the Police demanded that, they write a formal letter of Undertaking to that effect which was written and signed by Pastor, Ifeanyi Ogogo who is a Pastor with the Mountain of Fire Ministry, Issele Uku and they all left the Police Station.

Thereafter, they all went back to the Palace to brief the Obi that everything has been sorted out with the Police. It was after the letter of Undertaking was written and signed by Pastor Ifeanyi Ogogo a, close relative of the deceased that the Police asked the Hospital to do the needful to the corpse and then released to the relatives for burial.

That must have informed the embalming of the corpse. However, the family members then, came up with that the other issue that, they didn’t have the money for the burial ceremony and begged Bolum to help reach out to Ned for any financial assistance towards that.

Bolum, did and pleaded with Hon Ned Nwoko to help the family as it appears that they were actually in need of financial assistance. So, Ned in his usual magnanimity then directed Bolum, to the Ned Nwoko Foundation (which was established purely for rendering humanitarian services to those in earnest need of any form of financial assistance) which then provided the sum of #500,000: 00 (Five hundred thousand Naira only ) on the Wednesday and it was handed over to the Obi who there and then summoned these same representatives of the family and gave them the same amount of money. They therefore thanked, Ned, Bolum and the Obi and left.

The burial was done and thereafter, everyone went about his or her normal businesses. So, it was shocking that six months after, one Azuka Jebose, who was seen publishing in his Facebook page and in the other social media platforms misleading and inciting articles about the case whose content are laden with outright lies, half truths and innuendos all designed at carrying out a campaign of calumny against Hon Ned Nwoko and the Obi of Onicha Ugbo and Bolum over the incident because of the refusal of Hon Ned Nwoko to intervene in the on going criminal trials of Prince Nonso Nwoko and some other persons bothering on terrorism and murder in Idumuje Ugboko which took place in 2017 during the inordinate ambitions of of Prince Chukwunonso Nwoko to ascend the exalted throne there following the death of the immediate past King of Idumuje Ugboko – HRH, Obi Albert Nwoko.

I hereby, challenge anyone who is really interested in knowing the whole truth and in pursuit of justice to get across the the aforementioned names from the family of late Mr Ogogo and the Nigeria Police Station in Issele Uku so, as to hear their sides of the whole unfortunate incident and then cross check the truth and the facts with that of Azuka’s which had been distorted to suit his purposes and then draw the conclusion of the entire narrative.

On a final note let it therefore, be stated that the enviable antecedents of the visionary, cerebral and uncommon philanthropist Hon Ned Nwoko built over the decades could not be allowed by some of us who appreciate Ned Nwoko for what he stands to, be tarnished by someone who fits into a classic sociopath who possesses a superficial charming character but remains manipulative and conning and never recognises the rights of others, sees his narrow and self serving behaviour as permissible.

Azuka, a delusional personality who has not shown any form of remorse and shame for the distortion of facts just to diabolically malign and hard to bring both Hon Ned Nwoko and the King of his home town and the traditional institution into disrupte just for his pecuniary gains from his sponsors who by, now must have realised that he is an overated journalist.

Azuka has crossed the red line and therefore, be ready to give account of all these misleading smear campaigns on Hon Ned Nwoko and any other person soon because no one should be above the laws and the long arms of the law could get to any offender anywhere in the World and at any time.
