Rapper, CDQ Empowers Students

Popular rapper, CDQ, (Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf) has launched his education initiative; “CDQ EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE (CEEI)” to empower secondary school students.

The singer has taken to Government Secondary School, (GSS), Ilorin, Kwara where he graduated from over a decade ago to kick-start the scheme. The initiative is meant to give back to the society. CDQ hails from Kwara State.

In his 2-days trip to the state, he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin on day one to discuss his intentions and plans for the scheme which is to benefit the secondary school students in the state.

The trip was filled with activities as the musician and his team were well received by the school as he gave writing materials and wall clocks to the students.

His publicist who spoke during the launch of the initiative said; “The (CEEI) project is targeted at solving writing materials problems in the state as all the secondary schools in Kwara State will get to benefit from it.”
