Prophet Victor Oziegbe Reveals Shocking Secrets

…Jonathan is Nigeria’s next president

Prophet-Victor-OziegbeProphet (Dr.) Victor Oziegbe, is the General Overseer of World of Prayer Bible International Church. He celebrated his 40th birthday on Sunday 25th of January and 13th year of his ministry with a programme “Abundant Grace and the hand of God”. In this interview with ORUKPE NELSON, he shared light on how he started his ministry, growing up and sundry issues.

How do you feel to be 40?

The feeling is wonderful; I bless God for my life, even when the devil never wanted me to see 40 because back in 1995 when I fell terrible sick, it was God who brought me back to life. Words have already been sent to my people in the village back then that I will not survive the sickness but today I’m celebrating 40 years birthday. It calls for thanksgiving. It has been from one glory to another in the Church

Would you say you are fulfilled at 40?

Well; life begins at 40, I’m just beginning life and I believe that my tomorrow will be better than today. The Lord told me that the glory I’m seeing now is too small compared to the coming greater glory. This church is moving to the USA, it’s moving round the world, so we’ve just started, we’re moving to higher ground. And the Lord God Almighty will take us there by His grace.

As a minister of the gospel with international outreach programme, televangelism network and a family man, how do you cope with these taxing challenges? And as a young man, do you miss not having time to socialise?

I don’t regret and lose anything, I’m married to Pastor (Mrs.) Peace Oziegbe. Before I got married; my wife knew my work and the kind of husband she’s going to marry, so she has to bear with me. Sometimes; I’m out of the country or within the country preaching the gospel from one point to the other and my wife knows my movement and she’s equally busy doing the work of God. Today, God has blessed me with three lovely kids, I’m grateful. There’s nothing to regret about at all.

The saying goes that “Behind every successful man, there is a good woman”, how can you describe Pastor (Mrs.) Peace Oziegbe?

She is the best woman I can talk about, she’s humble, respectful and obedient and also fire brand, she does what I do and God is helping us and I believe that she is a woman from God and that’s why I have no regret.

World of Prayer Bible International Church is 13 now, how was it starting the ministry?

Earlier, I said it’s God’s grace. This ministry is not a man-made ministry, it’s God’s ministry. First, going back to the starting of this ministry, I faced a lot of challenges, our permanent site where we are now, we bought it three times from three different people.  It was my first time of going to Police Station to defend myself for this Church, for the land.  The first person collected money, the second person collected and third person too. It was very challenging; after buying the land, people around never wanted the church to be here but in the end God always gives us victory each time we find ourselves in one situation or the other because it’s His own ministry. We faced a lot of challenges on the land, the people around but today they are all family, friends and members of the church. If God did not call us; we would have run away at the beginning but today; we are all friends, they are all seeing what the Lord is doing.

You said you had to resign your job with Dangote to start the ministry 13 years ago, do you have any regret to have taken that decision to heed God’s call?

No regret whatsoever. I remember I left Dangote job in 2001 and since then; God has been so faithful, in 2003 God gave me my first car and I visited my former company and all my colleagues that pitied me back then came to rejoice with me and till today; God has been taking me from glory to glory. He has been so faithful and I don’t have any regret.

Looking back, what would you outline as the successes of the ministry?

It’s wonderful, God has been so faithful, I thank God for all He has been doing, and He has been so faithful to me.  Remember; I told you He promised me and whenever He promises me; He would never fail. My first journey outside the shores of this country was in 2004, God took me to Accra, Ghana in 2004, I came back from there, the people around me were like “oh this young man has travelled abroad and they started fighting, where we were doing the ministry they pursued us from there, the woman that gave us that place was dead and we prayed for her and she came back to life and she said that we should take over that place.  But when I travelled that first time, as they say success attracts jealousy and enemies, we were pursued from our place of worship, the same woman who gave us that place pursued us because people talked to her that the man is making so much money from her property; that he should leave or pay huge money. That was how we left that place and God brought us to our place here.  There were lots of challenges but God has been so faithful.

On January 25th, you marked your 40th birthday and 13th anniversary of your ministry, how was the event?

The main key there, was thanksgiving to God. If it were man, we wouldn’t have got to where we are today. Secondly, a lot of fathers in the Lord came to bless us.  All we need is blessing.  There will be healings, deliverance, and breakthroughs this year. God told me that it’s a year of abundant peace.

As a prophet of God, the nation has been bedevilled by lots of crises of late and as usual, most of the prophecies this year are scary to say the least.  What has God revealed to you concerning Nigeria?

I was on MITV and ACBN recently where I told the world that if a man tells me he saw the devil, I will ask him what he used in pursuing the devil.  Many prophets come out with prophecies that make people to be afraid but the Lord told me that the same Nigeria will remain great.  Nothing will happen before, during and after the election.  Peace will reign.  My advice to other prophets that might be reading this interview is that if they see something negative about the nation or people, they should pray over it for the Lord to take control over us and have mercy than to put fear in the minds of the people.

I see Nigeria in 2015 that things are going to be better; I see the glory of God covering Nigeria.  So people should not be afraid anymore.

Has God revealed our next president to you?

The truth of the matter is that it’s going to be by God’s grace.  Jonathan and Buhari are going to fight a very long battle but in the end, Jonathan will win.  That’s what the Lord told me.  There will be a very serious contest.  Buhari will have a lot of followership and votes, Jonathan too but in the end, President Jonathan will win.
