Famous on-air-personality turned politician, Otunba Dayo Adeneye (a.k.a D-One), has been appointed as a member of the Media and Publicity Committee for Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s second term project. D-One, who contested for a seat at the State House of Assembly under Odogbolu constituency, has remained upbeat and supportive of his party, All Progressives Congress.

The affable Ijebu chief whose appointment was recommended from the top hierarchy in the Amosun’s Campaign Organization is to pull his weight to galvanise support for the governor and his party. He’s to be part of a think tank to invent media strategy that will earn the party the desired mileage and help its success at next month’s general election. D-One went into politics in his home state’s land politics with over two decades experience spanning education, broadcasting and media business management.
