Professor Johnbull Berates Fake Estate Agents 

Popular TV Drama Series, Professor Johnbull, this week takes a swipe at the unholy activities of fake estate agents in Nigeria. The sitcom is bankrolled by telecommunications data grandmasters, Globacom.

Tagged Estate Agents, the episode will be on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday, while repeat broadcasts come up on Friday on same stations the same time slots.

Globacom explained in a press statement that “it is common knowledge that the activities of quacks in the nation’s real estate management have given the industry a great challenge and many people have fallen victims of the pranks and exploitation of these fake estate agents who not only rent or sell the same property to several people at the same time, but who also abscond with people’s money.”

According to the company, the episode is not only comical but highly insightful as it delves into the shenanigans of infiltrators who have no business in the nation’s real estate industry. “We are confident that after watching this new episode, many who would have been victims would have learnt some lessons as Estate Agents is a complete expose on the activities of fake real estate agents”, the statement said

Aside from berating the fraudulent tendencies of the illegal estate agents, the drama also queries other issues such as multiple charges by real estate practitioners. Answers will also be supplied to dark areas such as: Who is a fake estate agent? Are there acceptable charges in the real estate industry? Is there any difference between ‘agreement fee’ and ‘agent fee’?

Star actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo plays  Professor Johnbull  as usual while  other regulars such as Samson (Ogus Baba), Flash (Stephen Odimgbe), Etuk (Bishop Imeh), Jumoke as played by Bidemi Kosoko and Elizabeth, the equally moralistic daughter  of Professor Johnbull, acted by Queen Nwokoye will equally thrill viewers of the episode.
