Nigerian Correctional Service has been dazed by gunmen who invaded a prison facility in Kogi State and freed inmates.

It is interesting to know that the last time something of this nature happened was some months ago when gunmen also stormed a prison facility in Edo State and freed the inmates.

In Kogi, the gunmen killed two soldiers and freed about 240 inmates.

Interestingly, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church had before now warned in his annual book of prophecy titled; ‘Warnings To The Nations’ that he foresees prison break in Nigeria.

This prophecy was a warning to the Nigerian Correctional Service to fortify security in their several facilities across the country but it seems much attention wasn’t given to this prophecy.

Primate Ayodele on page 299 of Warnings To The Nation (2020/2021) categorically stated that he sees prison facilities being attacked and that officials attached to the prison will be attacked too.

Meanwhile, two soldiers were killed at the Kogi prison before the jail was broken and about 240 inmates got freed.
