There is so much suffering in this country, what is your advice to Nigerians in this critical time?

It’s not yet critical we are trying to get there. The fact is that we should not expect miracles from President Muhammadu Buhari, he might not be able to fulfill most of his electoral promises because it is not the way he said it that he will see it. The president needs prayer; in picking people, he must do more consultation to pick the right people to work with him so that he will not pick wrong people.

There is going to be a lot of changes; like some ministries will merge up and also some parastatals will merge up. Just like I have said, he should follow Jonathan’s pattern; what he has done he should not abandon those projects because some people will tell him to abandon them. It is the same body, the same system and the same government and we should never expect much from the new president. The president should avoid fighting those that trusted and helped him to power. We should pray for him because I see him struggling, struggling all through. So, his government is going to be struggling all through. President Muhammadu Buhari needs prayer to survive his period of time in government. Also, some governors, senators and House of Assembly members will not complete their term in government. In few months some speakers will be removed in some states, like; Kano, Kaduna, Ebonyi, Nassarawa, Adamawa, Bayelsa. And the governor of Bayelsa State needs prayer so that he will not continue to have problems with some people.

The issue of poverty, only God can help us because this government is going to focus on corruption and I don’t see them fighting the corruption. Let us be watchful so that we will not see another side of Boko Haram. As for militants, the government will try to approach them in a normal way but they must not neglect the South-South people, the government must carry them along, the government must be able to carry them along. At the same time, Boko Haram is not yet over.

The speakership is between Femi Gbajabiamila and others; the senate presidency is going to be between Senator Bukola Saraki and others. We should expect a kind of new leadership in the house and ofcourse, don’t let us underrate David Mark. If David Mark contests for this position he might take it o!

How do you see Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State?

Let’s keep this because there is a court case already, but I am not seeing any magic from his end. Ambode might not be able to offer Lagosians what they are expecting from him. He must not be aggressive; he must conduct himself in such a way that people will have access to him. But it is going to be a different ball game entirely from what people are expecting from him.

How do you see Governor Ifeanyi Ikowa in Delta State?        

Okowa will carry the people along in his first-two years, he wants to do what Emmanuel Uduaghan has not done but the people he wants to carry along will now began to fight him, causing problem for him. Okowa will be one of the governors that will be highly vocal and would want to defend his party very well. So, Okowa will perform but in another dimension and there will be a lot of critics. He is going to be sectionalized to some certain areas in Delta.

How do you see Governor Nyesom Wike in Rivers State?      

Wike will want to perform but he will find it very difficult because he is going to face a lot of political challenges; plots and coup and must put his government in prayers so that he can survive diverse temptations.

There is this rumour that Patience Jonathan is fighting the Governor, Seriake Dickson for him not to get his second term ticket. How do you see the Bayelsa State governorship, bearing in mind that they have not done their election?

If Gov. Seriake Dickson does not get the governorship ticket, PDP will lose Bayelsa State. So, they should not fight him, let them leave him.

Any other message you need to mention?

If Barcelona FC work very hard they will lift up the Champions League cup, they shouldn’t joke with Juventus. So, they should work real hard. They have their luck within the first half of the match because the second half will be very tight so that they will not end up in penalty shootout.

Petroleum will not give Buhari much because our petrol will dry in the next 8years from now. So, President Muhammadu Buhari should work very hard to see other alternatives.

How do you see President Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu working together?

The fact is that Buhari working with Tinubu is going to be fantastic but the relationship will crash; too much of enmity and greed. Greed will of course cause problems in Tinubu/Buhari’s administration. A lot of things are going to happen, so, they must be very wary of the opposition and they must prove to the nation that there is change. They will try to cause change but some of the changes will not come to manifestation.

What is your message to Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode?

He should be very patience; study things and listen to advice.

What is your say on banks?

I see a lot of banks going through a lot of restructuring and troubles, some Chairmen and Managing Directors of banks too. First Bank will have crises and also Zenith Bank as well as Diamond Bank; they will face counter challenges and even Ecobank. They should be very careful so that they will not drop in the capital market. So, a lot of challenge is coming to the bank and also the bankers.

What about the CBN?

There is going to be a lot of changes in CBN and there is going to be a lot of probe and counter probe in CBN.
