Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s wife, Her Excellency, Olufunso Amosun has adopted the 9years old child, Master Korede Taiwo who was chained for over a month on his neck to a heavy log of wood by his father in a room in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government area of Ogun State. The boy was rescued by the Nigeria Civil Defence Corp, Nigerian Police Force and admitted into the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta.

Mrs. Olufunso Amosun expressed satisfaction over the health of the child when she visited the boy at the hospital. “I am happy to see him active and responding to treatment and with the way things are he would soon be discharged from the hospital. The state government has taken full responsibility and would ensure his safety and his education.”
